The Princess Suites

Completed in 2022, this change of use renovation transformed a historic 1800s building in London, Ontario, from its previous incarnation as an office building into a quadplex designed for vacation rentals. In collaboration with the owner, we reimagined the space into four identical 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom units, each equipped with its own kitchen and living space. The units were given a unique touch through the use of varying kitchen millwork colours, including deep tones of green, blue, and, in some cases, blush, to align with the modern, urban, and approachable concept envisioned for the property. JHDS's involvement was focused on space planning and providing construction drawings essential for the transformation, ensuring that each unit was both functional and aesthetically pleasing, perfectly suited for guests looking for a contemporary urban retreat.
